worst scooter commuting app in the world a big scam i do not recommend to anyone they are scammers i will never use this app again i will tell everyone never to use this app they are thieves

what has happened to lime in LA? it was bad enough i live in a no parking zone and had to walk three blocks to get a scooter but now there are no ride zones. today i rented a scooter and had to stop at my place but the scooter stopped working and said i was in a no ride zone. i had to wall the scooter back. i asked for a refund and am deleting the app

They fined me £20 for parking. What's the point of paying more to ride then?

I won't give them another penny.

Just awful.
1) Unlocking the scooter takes a long time and costs too much (the competition does not have such fees)
2) A lot of non-working scooters (about 10% from my experience)
3) Trouble logging in via phone number. Issue lasted about a week and technical support was really bad and time-consuming
4) Sometimes the scooter just breaks while driving (e.g. stops moving)

I advise against using Lime, because there are always some problems with it. Competition is better for many reasons.

I use scooters for my daily commute in London and Lime is by far my worst experience. Some day you'd go to your regular parking spot and realize they've randomly changed it. They sometimes force you to move so far from your destination because there are too many lime vehicles there and of course you have to pay for the ride. Even santander bycicle app can tell you beforehand if there is enough parking space. The map is basically useless because you can't see and plan where you're allowed to go. There are many better ones, never gonna use it again

Worst Company ever!! Should be illegal. You cant park it anywhere you end up spending time to find a parking after. Their app is very bad technically you basically end up paying 25-30€ just in the time to find a place to park it!! Use other apps they’re better!! Never again! Hope I can get some of my money back after this

These bikes have become an absolute disgrace - if they can be hacked so easily and ridden for free by people (let's face facts - mostly antisocial teenagers) who dump them anywhere and everywhere, the whole, ridiculous operation should be stopped with immediate effect, London-wide.

Easy to use but £10 for a 30 min bike ride? I'm better off using Uber or renting a normal bike

THIS IS A CRIMINAL RUN COMPANY VERY CORRUPT , DO NOT USE , Long storey short a rider cause $3000 of damage and Lime are refusing to pay for the damage as it was not my fault at all. The brake was faulty on the bike and this whole thing was a mess from the start I have wasted so much time and got no where with it in the end. The risk of using these bikes is not worth it. How can a rider with a faulty bike crash into a register and insurance car and a company can just refuse to pay for the damage with prof it wasn’t at my fault. KEEP AWAY NOT WORTH USING BOYCOTT THESE C@nts.

In central London, these bikes have become an absolute nightmare. They are abandoned everywhere but the biggest issue is they are easily stolen. When they are they make this really loud clicking noise. They are stolen all the time so this disturbing noise is heard all over 24/7 and the company is doing absolutely nothing to deal with this.

Me and my girlfriend used two lime bikes in milton keynes today. I could t believe when we finished after 1h and 14 min and saw they charged us 35£, what an absolute joke .Not to mention that they were electric bikes but didn t work properly. Do not use them !!

Here in Belgium we don't have the electric bikes, just the scooters and they work surprisingly good compared with the other trash electric scooters that trynna scam you on your every ride. I've been using Lime for almost a year now and never encountered a bug in the app, or stolen any money as other scooter companies did. I promise, I don't work for them that's why leaving a positive review. It's genuinely a trustworthy company. I always pay 6 bucks for 60 minutes and it simply does the job for me. I don't know what other users are experiencing and leaving such negative comments or reviews, but so far so good for me 🤷‍♂️ 5⭐

Terrible service. None of the bikes or scooters work, and to get a refund you have to go through your bank because there is no one to contact at lime. A complete waste. Do not use this company.

To start with, the bikes are undeniably terrific. Considering their weight, they are very fast and a very pleasant ride. But, they now charge 23p per minute which is absolutely ridiculous. They were 15p in 2019. Rides are very expensive and just never worth it. Say I want to cycle to my friends house 7 minutes away, £1 initial fee and then £1.61 for the ride. £2.61 for a 7 minute journey on what is usually a beaten up bike. That doesn't account for the glitchy app that takes 20-30 seconds to officially end the ride which could end up charging me more. It isn't actually worth it, I could get a bus from one side of London to the other for way less. I never use it anymore, after my free trial is over (which eradicates the booking fee) I won't be using the bikes. Get rid of the booking fee for everyone, and I'm sure you would pick up more money. Even so, 23p per minute like so many things, is ridiculously overpriced.

Sick and tired of having to literally throw these bikes out the way , the man put them in a road today !!!! Like are you kidding me, I had to get out in the middle of the road to move a bike they block everywhere am complaining again to mayor of London
